Technology Program Manager
Dina Bam, MPH is a public health professional with a passion for expanding mental healthcare through innovative technologies. Her work as an EMT sparked her curiosity in the field of mental healthcare. During her undergraduate career, she saw firsthand how new technologies, such as Virtual Reality, could facilitate treatment and prevention within the healthcare system. She gained valuable experience in this field, working for a digital media company which produced Virtual Reality content.
Over the past two and a half years, Dina continued to follow this passion and joined the team at the National Mental Health Innovation Center (NMHIC). In her role as the Technology Project Manager at the NMHIC, she led efforts to promote real-world implementation of mental health technologies.
At VXVY, Dina works closely with Sarah to run our member network. She strives to make personal connections with each member and understand the unique needs of each member group to ensure that they are connected with the resources that they need. She also manages our technology vetting and assessment processes.
Dina moved to Colorado to pursue a Master’s degree in Public Health, with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus, and she hasn’t left since! While not at work, you can usually find her outside, biking, hiking, rock climbing, traveling, and hitting the ski slopes.
