The team at VXVY Mental Health has extensive experience working with partners in K-12 school districts to identify feasible use of technology for the wellbeing of students, teachers, and staff as well as the utilization of technology for life skills.
VXVY Mental Health has partnered with various school districts to better understand the digital mental health needs of K-12 schools.
Schools have identified a need in:
- Providing effective resources for students with mental health issues
- Implementation of digital mental health technology within academic settings (i.e.,creation of behavioral health technology curriculum)
- Evaluation of digital mental health products for students, teachers, and/or staff
VXVY Mental Health can provide guidance in multiple areas. Including but not limited to the following:
- Assistance identifying high-quality evidence-based technology (hardware and software)
- Hands on support with tech implementation
- Help identifying funding sources to support tech utilization efforts
- Guidance on how to use technology within their organization by identifying gaps and key players in the organization to lead and maintain implementation efforts
- Demonstrations of technologyat events hosted by community partners
Examples of our work:
- Development of evaluation tools measuring staff wellnessutilizing virtual realitymindfulness platforms.
- Connections and collaboration with tech companies in beta stage development on tech products for adolescents.
- Consultation on curriculum development for behavioral health technology courses including app recommendations (i.e. mindfulness, public speaking, job interviewing).
- Internship placement for students interested in digital mental health technology, integration and research.
